Olive Off the Shoulder Dress

Spring, Spring, Spring. I'm so excited that I am slowly finally able to dress for the spring weather. Many of my friends started dressing in spring trends a month ago, this cold baby couldn't get herself out of sweaters, jeans, and boots.

I'm so excited to finally own something in this super on trend style.. off the shoulder! The minute I saw this tobi.com item I had to have it. Olive is such a gorgeous basic color, and the material is so soft and comfy. I know I will be dressing up and down this item all summer long. Also, I have literally seen everyone rocking the off the shoulder and I had to join in. I'm kind of late jumping in, only because of my reason above... i'm always cold. I know people sacrifice freezing for fashion, but nope I cannot function being cold.. I rather bundle up! haha

I wore this dress with some of my favorite accessories! I wore this double choker/chain necklace that I got from Versona accessories, and my booties are from Target. I decided to go with a western chic vibe. I stuck with gold coloring on my jewelry, my booties have brass studs, and kind of have a cowgirl feeling. I went with a slightly different hairstyle, it's still down, but instead I parted it down the middle. I think it makes the entire look. I never liked my hair worn this way, but I think I'm going to start wearing it this way! Overall I have a feeling this outfit will be repeated in days to come!

Our Home and Planets

This weekend was Earth Day! I hope you all had the opportunity to either go out enjoy nature or took a second to appreciate our planet. The air, the plants, trees, mountains... I love it all. Some things I do to care for our lovely earth- use a water bottle, recycle, I take public transit.. I'm working on being an even better person to the planet each day.

I had to have this tee from Free People the minute I saw it. It is an illustrated graphic tee, with embroidery! The words, and the outline of the planets are embroidered, and just add an extra touch. Also, it says all the planet names, but instead of Earth it says.... HOME. It is no longer online, so go get it while you can!

I paired my home tee with some black leather sided leggings.. don't worry its vegan leather! haha. I added my combat boots, a denim jacket, and my lita choker. I wanted to add a little glam so I wore my Chanel Red lip. :)

Dreamy Jaxon Tee

Dreamy and comfy: that describes both my outfit and location today. First, I love exploring and frolicking around DUMBO, so fun. One of my favorite things; Jane's Carousel. I always have loved carousels, something about the lights, movement, music.. they are so magical and whimsical. Fun fact- Jane's Carousel is originally an old carousel that was in an abandoned amusement park from Youngstown, Ohio. They had it brought all the way to NYC where they refurbished the ride. I like to know that something so magical comes from my home state of Ohio.

Now for the comfy... The minute I saw the Jaxon Henley at Free People I knew I had to have it. Especially this dreamy blush color. I love any type of waffle tee, so this was a must. I also enjoy the illusion that it is two shirts, like the waffle shirt is under a cuffed tee. I wore this shirt with some black leggings, and combat boots. Lastly, I continued the rose color in wearing a rose gold choker, and pink mirrored sunnies. I seriously cannot stop wearing this tee, it comes in other colors... get yours here!

Wild Coast

Happy Friday! hope you all are having a great week of first spring beautiful weather! I know I have. I hate being cold, so being able to enjoy the sunshine and not worry about bundling up is the best.

Today I am featuring my new favorite pants from free people, called the Wild Coast Pant. I frolicked around Brooklyn Bridge Park, with my friend Rachel, enjoying the gorgeous day. Check out her page here.

These pants are perfect for the spring, but it also will be great in summer. I love its soft texture and thin material. Everyone needs to get them, as they are flattering on everyone! They also come in olive green, and a light blue. I kept the outfit simple with a white long sleeve, and my just fab black booties.
